Why Everly exists
Deciding where a parent or loved one will live next is one of the most personal decisions a family makes. It often arrives during an already difficult season, and it comes with a long list of questions: what kind of care is right, what it costs, how to compare options, and how to manage a move from a home filled with memories.
Kim founded Everly Senior Transitions so that families would not have to navigate those questions alone. Her approach is simple: listen carefully, explain options clearly, stay organized, and treat every senior with the dignity and warmth she would want for her own family.
Training and experience
Mom’s House training
Kim has completed Mom’s House training programs in Senior Placement, Senior Real Estate Transitions, and Downsizing.
Real estate background
Experience as a real estate professional and in managing residential properties gives Kim a practical understanding of homes, moves, and timelines.
A personal approach
As a boutique service, Everly works with a limited number of families at a time, so each one receives Kim’s direct attention.
What you can expect
- We listen first. Every recommendation begins with understanding your loved one’s personality, routines, preferences, and priorities.
- We respect dignity and choice. Seniors are part of the conversation whenever possible, and families always make the final decision.
- We stay organized. You receive clear communication, practical timelines, and one point of contact.
- We are transparent. You will know in writing what any service costs and whether a community compensates Everly.
- We stay within our role. We do not give medical advice or make clinical decisions. We help you work with the professionals who do.
You don’t have to figure this out alone.
A first conversation is simply a chance to share what is happening and hear what your options might look like. There is no obligation.
